Armatrading looks forward to another intimate show in Melbourne

Thanks to the guys at Bluesfest Touring, Melbourne Recital Centre and her endearing fan base; Joan Armatrading will be performing one last show in Melbourne on her December tour. With over 20 albums up her sleeve, fans young and old will be entertained by the musical veteran as she features her well known tunes with a few new singles for an unbelievable night.

Thump and Sugar Mountain Festival team up to present YAMA\THUMP

Playing at Shebeen for this year's Melbourne Music Week will be an ensemble of talented DJ's presented by Thump, and Sugar Mountain. On the list will include bass heavy Cassius Select, disco enthusiast DJ JNETT, eclectic all-rounder Chiara Kickdrum, and finishing the night will be Air Max '97.

Shebeen on Friday November 21.
It's $5 on the door.

Salt n Pepa bring the Hip-Hop to Forum Theatre

For one night only Salt n Pepa will grace the stage with DJ Spinderella for a fun night of 90s nostalgia with Australia's favourite party groups CDB. Forum Theatre will turn into one massive party celebrating the era known for giving us hits such as "Lets Groove", "Hook Me Up", and "Hey Girl".

Sleep shocks all with first single in over 15 years

Sleep puts down the bong and picks up the guitar to bring us The Clarity. Also, the self confessed potheads will be bringing their new hit to Melbourne. The track exuberates a love for weed (who would have guessed) and is considered the best on the band's repertoire. Make sure you get to see them live, it is an experience that is hard to forget.

Johnny Rollins showcases own material

Picking up the bronze medal on this year's series of The Voice is Johnny Rollins and this Saturday he will prove to everybody how he earned 3rd place. In a show featuring original compositions, Johnny Rollins will bring his soulful voice to the delight of fans in the area. Expect an EP in early February.

Grandstands perform new single at workers club

Antony, Chris, Marc and Tom are Grandstands, an ensemble with sweet melodies and catchy hooks. Armed with a new single from their forthcoming Getting Out EP slated for release early next year and includes an ode to the mundane and tribute to the "Nowhere Man". Check them out!

Sunbeam Sound Machine aka Nick Sowersby premieres new single

Melbourne based Multi-instrumentalist Nick Sowersby has a new single ready to share "Wandering, I" via Indie Shuffle. It is the second single to be lifted from his Debut LP Wonderer which is set for release via Dot Dash/Remote Control Records on Friday, 21st of November. While only days away from releasing his debut album, he has also announced an album launch show in Melbourne which will take place at Hugs & Kisses on Saturday 6th of December 2014. Additional launch shows around Australia will be announced in the coming weeks.

Melbourne psychedelic band Spiral Arm rock the Cherry Bar

Known around Melbourne with a distinct groove heavily situated within the psychedelic medium is the local rock act Spiral Arm. The ambitious band is stopping at nothing to release their highly anticipated EP which will be launched at the Cherry Bar.

Joe Creighton presents JC & The Po'Boys

Joining Creighton on his new show will be Chile born percussionist Alejandro Vega. Together with the rest of the band led by Jimmy Slogget; JC & The Po'Boys is a nine piece band not to be missed as they deliver a jazz filled night complete ith New Orleans second line Funk, Soul and R&B.

All Hail Witchgrinder!

Witchgrinder will be finishing off the year with a massive, ultra, huge, demonic extravaganza: big enough to wake the dead (hopefully). Playing for dominance on the night will be Dead City Ruins, Electrik Dynamite and Desecrator as they knock your senses to the ground.
